This year, we were honored to partner with the National Football League Players Association for their Community MVP Day event at Emerson Elementary School in Oakland during Super Bowl week.
Community MVP Day brings together NFL players from across the league to visit a local elementary school in the Super Bowl host city for a day rooted in joy, service and connection. Students participated in games, art, music, and hands-on activities, all designed to celebrate young people and invest in their school community.
As part of the collaboration, The Conscious Kid donated diverse books to expand the school library’s collection and hosted a Black History Month mural that students helped design and paint: a lasting visual reminder that their stories, histories, and futures matter. We also matched the NFLPA’s monetary gift to further support the school. We were proud to work alongside partners like with School Specialty and the Vituity Cares Foundation, whose contributions, including funding, furniture, and the creation of a new sensory room, helped ensure the impact extended far beyond a single day.
We are deeply grateful to the NFLPA, the players, and every partner who showed up with generosity and care. Moments like this remind us what becomes possible when we come together to invest in young people for lasting change.
